👀 For Visual Learners:

BJU Press — We love BJU Press for its vibrant, teacher-led video lessons and colorful workbooks that make learning visually engaging and easy to follow. It’s on the more robust side academically, so it’s great for kids who enjoy a challenge.

Abeka — Similar to BJU Press but even more rigorous. It’s highly structured and visually stimulating, perfect for learners who thrive on repetition, routine, and a strong visual layout. (We’ll unpack the differences later in the course!)

MasterBooks — Known for its beautiful illustrations, gentle pace, and story-based learning approach. The workbooks are fun, approachable, and great for visual kids who prefer a lighter academic load.

Other options include: CLE, Rod and Staff, Monarch, LifePac, Memoria Press, Veritas Press and many more!

🎧 For Auditory Learners:

Audiobooks are your new best friend! Try listening together on YouTube, Audible, or even free Christian audiobook platforms.

If you can find a curriculum that includes audio or video components, that’s even better. Some great options include:

• Generations – rich storytelling and Scripture readings.
• Notgrass and Mystery of History – both offer audio versions for history and Bible lessons! So if you don't want to read it, you don't have to!
• Gather Round – full of read-aloud opportunities that make family-style learning come alive. But also lots of audio options for listening as a podcast or other formats.
• Compass Classroom – lots of engaging video-based teaching but also lots of audio lessons that keeps auditory learners hooked.
• Sonlight and Heart of Dakota - can be visual or auditory as you can look up a lot of literature suggestions as audiobooks online.

🤸 For Kinesthetic Learners:

My Father’s World — full of hands-on projects, crafts, and activities that let kids learn through movement and creativity. Perfect for those who can’t sit still for long!

F.O.R.M. Curriculum (Christian PE) — a wonderful way for kids to move their bodies and learn about health, fitness, and stewardship of God’s creation. Great for families who want to integrate physical activity into their homeschool rhythm.
